High Quality,
Participant led,
Creative learning.
I have worked in a variety of settings, including writers groups, recovery groups, youth settings, early years, further education, schools and trade unions.
I am a trained teacher, with over a decades experience of facilitating in community settings. I am interesting in experiences that empower participants and supports them to feel emboldened in their own creative journey.
I currently offer online facilitation, as well as limited face to face opportunities. If you would like to know more about how I could support your organisation, please reach out below.
Work With Me
I offer one to one online mentoring opportunities for writers at any stage of their creative journey. This can include career planning, creative brainstorming, publication guidance. confidence building or anything they would like to explore. Having worked in mentorship roles with the Scottish Book Trust, Scottish Poetry Library and ToonSpeak Theatre, I have developed a person centred and flexible approach to working with other writers.
I have a strong track record of gaining arts funding from bodies such as Creative Scotland, Tasgadh, Hands Up for Trad and Glasgow Life. If you would like support in building a bid for creative writing, community or performance project, I would love to help.
I would love to facilitate creative writing opportunities for your organisation or community. While these are offered predominantly on an online basis, I have limited availability each year for face to face projects.
I am a celebrated performer on the Scottish spoken word circuit, as well as having toured the UK and Ireland. I have developed two full length spoken word theatre shows, as well as writing and producing work for the Village Storytelling Festival and Hidden Door Festival. I would love to support your performance project. If you would like to work together, please contact me today.
