“Her writing presents a deep tapestry of everyday day life with language that bursts and fizzles off the page.”

— The Acid Cabaret.

My Work

I am award winning writer, and regular performer in the Scottish spoken word scene and beyond. My work focuses on urban mythology and social class. I am always interested in the stories of ordinary people, particularly women and families. I draw inspiration from growing up in the East End of Glasgow, as well as theology, tradition, history, dystopia and subculture.

I write in both English and Scots, and have a keen interest in language, culture and heritage.
